Past Caritas Events
Pizza Party
Brooke Rogan with Brooke's Bubble Bus provided transportation for Caritas to reward students with an after school pizza party at Marktplatz.
Free Kona Ice Event
Caritas held a free Kona ice event during the summer at Friendship Place Apartments.
Chess Tournaments
Caritas and the Pioneer Memorial Library held two chess tournaments during the summer.
Toy Donations
Thank you to Lady Bird Johnson Golf Course for their generous toy donations to Caritas families during Christmas 2025.
Hygiene Talk
Stephanie Oris, a Wesley Nurse at Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, spoke with the Homework Club in September 2025 regarding personal hygiene.
Walking Field Trip
Students visited Heritage Place Assisted Living after school on October 9, 2025. Students had an opportunity to ask residents about their childhood, and they talked with employees about their jobs and the training required. Three or four additional walking field trips are being planned this school year.
